The DNS Abuse Institute was created in 2021 to provide independent, credible, and transparent research with the aim of reducing DNS Abuse and encouraging best practice in the DNS community. Rowena and Graeme will introduce the scope of the Institute’s work, their measurement initiatives, and current state of DNS abuse, highlighting issues relevant to the UK – and how UK stakeholders can participate in the institute's work, access their research, and contribute to initiatives across the community.

Nigel Hickson, Senior Advisor, Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), the UK government's representative to ICANN's Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC), will comment and respond. He will be joined by an additional governmental sector commentator, whose participation remains to be confirmed.
